Winter Solstice & Chinese Medicine

On December 21 we approach the highest Yin day of the year! When we talk about Yin we can correspond with the following - dark, cold, and feminine. During this time we are ruled by the planet Mercury. The representing organs are the kidneys (yin organ), and the bladder (yang organ) according to Chinese Medicine. This is a very exciting time of year and season to shift with the elements. Water, being so flexible and fluid in it's organic nature, we too can be flexible and flow with life and surrender a bit more during this time. This is an excellent time for manifestation, allow for your deepest desires and wishes to flow in the rivers current until March when we hit the Wood season.
