The Secret to Fat Loss and Youth

Let's face it, when first incarnating on this planet we knew that we didn't have a choice but to be surrounded by collective belief systems. A lot of them not being true, but as human beings it's natural for us to take on collective belief systems as our truth. This is one of the barriers I would like to break down in my work as I share it with the world. We hold a lot of belief systems about weight and aging that keep us stuck. Why do I say this? Because fat loss and a more youthful appearance starts in the mind before the body.

What if we were to start little by little, detecting where our personal blocks are with these belief systems. How old were you when you first heard someone your senior mentioning about their weight and "getting older"? How many times have you heard someone share after consuming a dessert or a few slices of pizza that they were going to have to "work it off", or that they would be gaining weight from those engagements. Many of us can say countless. This is no one's fault. We have been brainwashed by a specific narrative our whole lives on how we should look, and what we should be putting into our mouths to achieve that look.

At the end of the day, it is so far from the truth that it's not even funny. Our bodies are more than equipped to break food down and quite effortlessly. There is no reason why we cannot enjoy a piece of cake, or an evening of delicious pizza while feeling confident, young and fit in our bodies. As I bring this up, where in your body do you feel like you are resisting this idea? Do you believe consciously or subconsciously that you would have to follow a set of rules to enjoy cake or pizza without weight gain or inflammation? Once upon a time I may have believed this too. In my earlier journey, I used myself as a guinea pig to test drive practically every dietary plan out there.

What was my conclusion from these dietary plans? They all held fragmentation in my opinion. First of all, I don't believe that anyone should be cutting out any important macro or micro nutrients from their diet. The only time that would ever be recommended by a doctor is if you had a serious allergy, sensitivity or adverse reaction with a specific food group, food or elemental source. The other side would be if you were struggling with an ailment and say your doctor recommends for you to go on low fodmap to assist you with your gut balancing. Other than that, why would you cut carbs out of your diet? At the end of the day it's not the carbs that's causing fat gain or fat loss. We need a balance of elements in our diet to achieve optimal health and well-being.

The way we think about food, our bodies and the way we look matters. Can you imagine what your internal dialogue is spewing out to your body daily like a tape recorder that never turns off? What if you were to shift the radio station to a frequency inside that was more supportive? What if you held and mastered a deep belief within that your body is more than capable of achieving the desired weight that you would like to be. While experiencing health, looking younger and enjoying the foods that you love. How many times have you heard someone blame their weight gain for their aging process or slow metabolism? It is not truth.

What if we were to program our brains into believing that our bodies are our natural healing machines that work for us, not against us. As we continue on this beautiful path of life we can adjust the sails accordingly. We can tune into our intuition and tap into intuitive eating. Our bodies know the way, it's time to let go so that they can properly guide us. Our body has an intelligence to it, just like a computer holds stored information. We must trust that this intelligence knows what's best for us. Once we really master trusting our bodies, we will notice that we are appearing more trim, looking younger and feeling healthier.

It is important to feel good on this journey. It's recommended to lean into thoughts of health, flexibility, fitness and youth. These are all supportive ideas that can do wonders for our subconscious and conscious minds. Have you ever noticed that when you stare at your so called imperfections in the mirror (fine lines and wrinkles), that is all you notice? And what about all of the cycling thoughts that follow you like a hungry wolf throughout the day? What if you were to focus on the areas of your skin that appeared youthful and young? Do you believe that you could brainwash yourself into looking younger?

If we gave our positives more energy than negatives (especially with the way we view our appearance and body), it would give us enough mental leverage, energy and juice to push us forward into a more fit physique and younger looking skin.
